Consciousness As Yet Undefined

I stepped out and away from really big thoughts for quite a while.  I guess I needed a break for a bit.  But, lately consciousness as a topic of thought calls from that precious place I left it some time ago and it tells me I’m not done yet.  Have you any idea the frustration this causes or why?  There have been over 200 papers written on the topic of consciousness and yet, we are still unable to pin point exactly where it begins and ends. The theories are abundant.  Some are very outlandish and some seem so rational and logical.  I cannot help but wonder though, if it remains truly illusive because we are looking for it with the wrong perspective and possibly, the wrong equipment.

What if consciousness is a type of energy field pervasive in its existence to the point it cannot be defined in terms of beginnings and endings?  What if it is such an intrinsic part of this world we experience that we will be unable to differentiate it coming from the mind or soul because both are a part of consciousness?  If we raise ourselves up to the consciousness of spirit and beyond, we still could not define its borders because we cannot get outside of it in order to fully look at it.  We have a word or a concept that carries multiple meanings only because we have no words to define the fullness of the essence of the infinite.

I had to stop looking it this for a while.  I had to cut myself off from thinking about it.  Not because it was a problem I couldn’t solve or it was frustrating or anything like that.  I had to stop looking at it to reconnect with it in a better light.  It has been a stressful year for me in so many ways I just won’t bore you with.  But that stress has been the impetus for my return to aware consciousness.  I think, sometimes, we need something painful to bring us back to the center of our being where there is peace, there is comfort and there is this vast and depthless expanse of pure consciousness we are always engaged with, plugged into and a very focal part of.

I guess in all my inquiry about consciousness, contemplating all the theories, I guess I have to smile and say “Yes” all are not only plausible but likely in some way.  There is no mind over soul over body here in terms of origins.  I think the reality would be much closer to a “yes” to quite possibly all theories.  I have no scientific proof but you see, science cant really measure it from the inside.  It hasn’t got the proper tools or the right perspectives yet to see itself from the inside.  It would be like a fish trying to formulate the existence of the ocean?  What would that be to a fish?  It is in it and so how could it be defined properly?  What framework would the fish use?  You might have to catch glimpses where you could step outside of consciousness but I ask you, how on Earth would you do that?  How in any realm could you do that?

I like to think of us all as interactive processors in a way.  We take in data at various frequencies, process that data and put out a world view that suits us but realize that output is dependent upon our processing equipment.  Not all of us process data in the same manner and even if we are comprised of similar components, the way we were put together creates many and varied ways in which we see, process and output information into the realities that we embrace.  No two processors (humans) are fully alike and each will have his areas of focus based on how he or she was created (and I’m including here genetic memes and psychology as well as environmental psychology and social impact upon our development).  So, within consciousness, how do we see consciousness when we are actually processors of consciousness?  I don’t have the answers.  I, like many others, only have questions.

At some level, I think I can accept the concept of being conscious, in a sea of consciousness, I consciously interpret to exist within a larger global shared consciousness.  At first this sounded so silly to me but then I stepped back, stopped thinking about it so much and it became more clear to me.  What purpose would it serve for me or anyone to define the indefinable at this point in our human-conscious development?  In this frame and within this plane of existence at this time, I do not think we have yet developed the right equipment, thought processes or perceptive ability to definitively articulate what precisely consciousness is.  Clever as we may be, the best we can hope for, I think, is to define aspects of it and maybe coin some better words to contain the aspects we define…like Spirit, Soul, Sub-Conscious, Latent Consciousness and Awake/Aware Consciousness.  But those are merely points on a spectrum that is really not limited to just the points.  What about the whole plane?  What about the other planes?

I’m more content today knowing I don’t have the tools to do a job I somehow started to take on without realizing it.  Rather than drive myself mad, I am happy to look for the right tools to begin to define component parts, go back to the studies and reread them, go back to the world of rich, beautiful and amazing experiences within the global consciousness and allow what is to manifest to, well, manifest with much greater ease and much less intense thinking on at least this topic in particular.  Because we exist to process and respond to what we both take in and put out, we bring naturally, this space-time continuum into the mix of consciousness.  We are the crossroads or culmination of time and space and the consciousness that keeps these things dimensionaly in tact in our experience.  Hmmm, more thoughts to come.

Metaphysics of The Holy Trinity

Abstract
Consciousness cannot exist without matter, but for consciousness to flow there needs to be a system in place; organized matter, an assembly of structures which supports the flow of consciousness; governed by a feedback mechanism; but the experience still remains as the hard problem of consciousness. My hypothesis: Access consciousness is present in every cell and grows laterally supporting multicellularity, i.e. access consciousness or sentience is the guiding factor for cell division and growth. Phenomenal consciousness on the other hand triggers cell differentiation, and supports development of organs and its systems e.g. brain; the seat of phenomenal consciousness. Phenomenal consciousness of a being connects with the supernatural; God and Spirit; achieved through higher levels of mediation and spirituality supporting the concept of the Holy Trinity. Death results in collapse of the structures which ceases all forms of consciousness in beings.

Key Words
Access Consciousness, Phenomenal Consciousness, Spirit, God, Being

Introduction
Every being is conscious; connected to the supernatural. A cell grows into a multicellular being; a panpsychist perspective would suggest a variation in consciousness reliant on growth and that which ceases with death. Access and phenomenal consciousness are forms of consciousness that were first proposed by Ned Block, wherein he proposed that phenomenal consciousness is an experience of consciousness, feelings, emotions or qualia while access consciousness is perception of the information that is perceived. This concept was further reiterated by David Chalmers; access consciousness is purely mechanistic or cognitive; that which is measured, while phenomenal consciousness is challenging; known as the hard problem which deals with experience of consciousness or qualia; why do we feel so or experience so?
Based on Block and Chalmers hypothesis, I propose a new hypothesis that blends the two types of consciousness; originating from birth and terminating with death of a being. Access consciousness is present in every cell and grows laterally supporting multicellularity through computations within the cytoskeleton network; access consciousness is the hypothetical guiding factor for cell division and cell growth. Phenomenal consciousness originates with cell differentiation and computes across the microtubules within the differentiating cells that support the development of organs and its systems e.g. brain and the neural tissue; that forms the seat of phenomenal consciousness. Phenomenal consciousness associated with the brain and neural tissue, bonds with the supernatural; God and Spirit and the realization of this experience or qualia transpires only at elevated levels of mediation and spirituality. Death results in collapse of the structures that support the flow, which ceases all forms of consciousness in beings.
Access Consciousness from a different perspective
From a panpsychist view and my hypothesis, access consciousness is a form of consciousness that is present in every living form; unicellular to multicellular beings, and which is supported by the ORCH-OR theory. Based on this theory it can be further hypothesized that consciousness generates and dwells within the cytoskeletal network of a cell. Access consciousness is computed within the cytoskeletal structure as a switching on and off of the microtubular proteins, terminating via collapse of the wave function. A cell is conscious and performs its activities under awareness computed within the cytoskeletal structures of the cell and which spans from microorganisms to humans and therefore is measured in hertz, megahertz and kilohertz. The lateral growth of access consciousness depends on cell division which supports events like building of a microbial colony to the formation of a multicellular being.
The lateral growth of access consciousness helps in cell growth and cell division, while cell differentiation is supported by the vertical growth of phenomenal consciousness, that supports the formation of organs like the brain; the seat of phenomenal consciousness. The computation of access consciousness within the microtubules of the cells is involuntary and during cell growth and development increases in volume due to an increase in cell volume. In microorganisms, growth in colonies is also supported by the growth in access consciousness, which is a sentient form of response; involuntary response that supports survival. Access consciousness though present throughout the life cycle of a being, does not support cellular differentiation and is only concerned with cell growth and proliferation.
Growth of Phenomenal Consciousness
Cell differentiation leads to the formation of organs and systems; the nervous system and the brain; the controller or promoter of phenomenal consciousness; experiencing conscious moment. Phenomenal consciousness computes at a higher rate with the growing brain and its cells and therefore can be correlated to neural plasticity. As the brain develops, the neural connectivity increase and so does the ability of the brain to store, memorize and compute phenomenal consciousness within the highly connected cytoskeletal network of the neurons. The limit of phenomenal consciousness therefore depends on the growth of the brain, beyond which the brain utilizes the computed phenomenal consciousness within the tubules to express and emote. Phenomenal consciousness is supported by access consciousness within the neural cells and originates through the computational mechanisms within the protein conformational changes in the tubules which are manned within the domains of space time geometry and wave collapse mechanism.
Phenomenal consciousness though computed within the brain is connected to a cosmic supernatural state; a state which is arduous to explore. Phenomenal consciousness can be understood through a medium that necessitates perseverance and restraint; that which is beyond the discipline of most beings. Meditation and mind control through spirituality can help attain a state of higher phenomenal consciousness; a point where one encounters qualia. Death terminates and breaks the link between access and phenomenal consciousness where all of consciousness is lost due to the loss of structural features within the cytoskeletal network. The brain is the seat for phenomenal consciousness and ameliorates an organism to perform deeds beyond the imaginary; answers for which are recalcitrant to obtain or seek. Phenomenal consciousness will therefore still remain the hard problem of consciousness, due to its supernatural acquaintances.
Phenomenal Consciousness and the Holy Trinity
Phenomenal consciousness is unified with the supernatural; a being survives by the computation of access consciousness via the cytoskeletal network and connects to God and Spirit by means of phenomenal consciousness computed within the highly connected network of the microtubules in the neurons of the brain, wherein the experience of being conscious can be empathized. The relationship is supernatural and subsists for every being but remains mysterious until death. The flow of consciousness within the brain increases when a link is created between the three states, the being, God and the Spirit, which in Christianity is represented as the Holy Trinity; Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Meditation and spirituality can enhance the association and hence makes a being aware of the charisma of the Spirit and God, which eventually depends on the growing phenomenal consciousness within the cytoskeletal structures of the brain.
Holy Trinity can be hypothesised a connection between God, Spirit and being; as we all are sons and daughters of God and therefore should be a part of the Holy Trinity; all beings are connected to God and Spirit by the formation of the Holy Trinity. Holy men and women experience consciousness beyond the imagination of any being, for they sustain the ability to manifest the ability to connect between the different forms of consciousness and the supernatural. The triune relationship fills them with the teachings of God, which over the years has helped them to share God’s teachings with all beings on Earth; as it is written in scriptures, texts, etc. In such a state these beings link their access consciousness and phenomenal consciousness to the supernatural; beyond the imagination of any being and therefore it remains unexplainable.
Conclusion
God connects to all by means of consciousness; phenomenal consciousness gives us the experience; the feelings, emotions or qualia, while access consciousness helps us perceive the information that is perceived. God, Spirit and being are interconnected via the various forms of consciousness that are computed within the cytoskeletal network within the domains of space time geometry that support the hypothetical triune connection of these three states – The Holy Trinity.

My Soul is from Elsewhere

My soul is from elsewhere, I'm sure of that, and I intend to end up there - Rumi

I ran across a quote by Rumi.  As with all his words, you can’t just quickly run past them.  You really have to sit with them a bit and reflect.  As I consider the words, “My soul is from elsewhere” alone, there is a strong resonance that echoes through not only my soul but the entirety of my spiritual consciousness.

I don’t believe we were created from nothing with a sudden appearance here on this Earth.  We’d have to come up with a much better and clearly defined understanding of consciousness in order for me to believe that.

I think that we always existed and even as we project our focus here in this dimension, there is still a part of us that remains part of that “Elsewhere” of which Rumi spoke.

Notice, maybe as I have, that he never said “return there” as if we had left and would some day return.  He said, “End up there.”  I think the concept of “End up there” is a little closer to the truth.  Perhaps we never left Elsewhere at all and everything we experience here is this massive, amazing and wonderful dream just for the delicious beauty of the experience of it.

No one can say with certainty but I think it’s a nice thought for now.  Beliefs are not entirely useless.  I guess their usefulness depends on what you allow them to motivate you to do.  If your belief keeps you happy, smiling, kind and supportive of all life here on planet Earth, then I’d have to say your belief would not be a bad thing in my book.  If your belief stirs up chaos and strife or intentionally harms life on this planet, I’d have to reflect very hard to be understanding of such beliefs.  I could do it but I may not like it.

It’s a funny world we seemingly live in but to me it is more than a pleasant thought to consider my soul comes from Elsewhere and one day I intend to end up there.  I don’t think I ever left there and I don’t think anyone else did either.  I can’t prove it but neither can you definitively disprove it.  That is the beauty of this intricately woven and matrixed experience called life.

So, let us go about our lives then regardless of potential origins or conscious residence.  Perhaps we should just live our lives to the fullest no matter our beliefs or the beliefs of anyone else. Respect all, love all and hold compassion for all.  Maybe we simply continue to move towards that which stirs us in a beautifully resonating fashion for therein lies our true strength and authenticity.

A Class in Life

Consider something way far outside of the lines for a moment.  Clear your mind of all preconceived notions, perceptions and beliefs.  Go back into the imaginary part of your being like that of childhood where imagination was plentiful and so much fun.  Imagine a moment; a time before this life.  Imagine that lives were like a catalog of classes that you wished to take to learn.  So, you visit the grand library in a crystal city far far away outside of time and space and you have your guidance counselors with you knowing your history, the levels of the learning you have achieved so far.  Imagine vast catalogs of potential life classes that you could choose to take.  Imagine selecting one and studying it, spending time contemplating your spirit and your soul and where it needs strength or more experience.  Imagine now selecting a life plan that presents you with all sorts of possibilities to support the life lesson (or class) you wished to choose for incarnation in this realm.

You carefully consider and discuss with your guides the life you have chosen.  You converse with your soul family and decide upon a most opportune course of study in the realm of Earth in this Third-Dimensional existence.  You prepare for the life as you would a college course.  You brush up on the knowledge you’ll need to take with you.  You might study a bit of some of the similar courses you’ve taken (e.g., other lives) that call to you in full remembrance the other lives in which you have previously learned things that might help you in the next class like taking and completing all lower level math classes before ascending into algebra, calculus and then trig.  You brush up and ready yourself to incarnate here on Earth in this dimension through concentrated conscious projection.

The thing about the life or class that you choose is that there must be a premise from which you operate or handicaps of various kinds that will set up for you the most perfect opportunity to truly learn.  Maybe you have to take a life you might from this life consider as difficult as calculus or something like it but although you’ve studied all other forms of math, this time, you don’t get to take your notes or your calculator.  The design of the program you set up with your guides and soul family creates an ample opportunity for you to learn and slowly over time your memories of prior learnings will become reinforced as you live the next life.  Knowing this, you gladly leave those memories behind or the calculator even because you know these things are ingrained within the memories within the archives of your soul.  At the right time and with the right study, the lessons previously learned will represent themselves in new places, faces or times.  So, you come (project your consciousness into Earth) and you grow with a family that helps reinforce the premise or handicap.  I have called this malware but it is not some victimizing thing at all but rather the very thing that helps you learn and reinforce all prior learning when you incarnate.

While projecting your consciousness here in this frame, you remain connected to your spirit back home, your guides and the idea or concept of the lesson plan chosen.  You also carry with you the latent memories within your soul that you can, at the right time, access.  You grow into your life incarnate on Earth and have many experiences that reinforce your learning.  Whatever it is you set out to learn, your life is perfectly designed to bring to you the most opportune events and people to assist you in your learning.  There will be those who share similar lessons or the opposite aspect of what you are learning in terms of other Soul Family who incarnated here with you and together you learn and together you grow.  You continue in this fashion until your spirit has gained all of the knowledge you wished and then it begins to fade its projection in the Third-Dimensional reality.  The vital essence of the body begins to subside, the fullness of your body’s experience appears to deteriorate and you turn gray and begin aging all in perfect time holding all of the new and beautiful lessons you have had the opportunity to learn.  The final day comes and you let go of this projection here and then with a final breath in the manner of your planning and choosing comes and you allow the projection to be turned off.

You find yourself now in the space between and eventually make your way back to the place you truly started from, Elsewhere.  When you arrive back home you are greeted by guides and loved ones so happy to see you return and so eager to hear how your journey of life went and you celebrate together the things that you learned and you receive encouragement for your efforts and you debrief from the lesson or class just completed.  You rest and recuperate glad you got through it, grateful for the opportunity to learn and then you sit and take it all in with all the other things that you’ve learned.  If more learning is what you most need, you know the way back to the Grand library and can strike out again and may wish to retake portions of your last lesson because you could have done it better or you may wish to assist one of your soul family members who wanted to retest his or her abilities in form.

In contemplating all of the various levels humanity seems to exist within, this idea, this imaginary idea seems to speak to the reason why there are all manner of experiences here…some good and some bad but what if every class isn’t your favorite class?  Sometimes we must take classes we’re not very good at and look around you, some people are not very good at this thing called life and that is really and truly okay because by the very act of them being present here, they learn and as they learn, they expand the collective of knowledge.  Each spirit that projects here to learn adds to the seasoning of the dish or the color of the artwork that is the Whole of our shared Consciousness.  If we can contemplate this view if even for a moment, we can find greater compassion for others here learning instead of raw toxic judgment.  What do you think?
